Nuno served as Banif Group CFO and Açoreana Seguros Board Member from 2010 until 2014 when he departed to establish Expand Capital.
In 2000, Nuno was invited by Banif shareholders to launch the investment bank unit. As Deputy CEO and global head of capital markets (USA, LATAM, and Europe), he was responsible for overseeing Global Markets, Securitization, and all regional Distribution Platforms.
During the 1990s, Nuno held the position of Executive Director at Banco Finantia. His tenure at Finantia encompassed various aspects of investment banking, including Asset Management, ALM, and Derivatives Capital Markets.
Nuno Teixeira holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and completed internships and training programs at SBC London (now UBS) and Salomon Brothers NY (now Citibank).
