João has over 25 years of experience in capital markets, corporate banking and corporate finance.
He joined Socifa in 1988 where he worked in capital markets and M&A. In 1993 joined Banco Finantia as corporate finance director, and in 1999 assumed the leadership to develop a national network of brokerage units within the Crédito Agricola group.
From 2006 to 2016 worked for the Banif Group with a commercial focus in investment and merchant banking services and bank financing to large corporations and institutions. In 2018 assumed the representation of Bison Bank in the North of Portugal.
João graduated in Economics from Faculdade de Economia at Porto University and holds port-graduation degrees in financial system management, from IESF, and M&A from Católica Business School. João was a teacher at the Universidade Portucalense – microeconomics -, and at IESF - financial technics.
